QOTSA Edmonton Handbill

This creation was colored on an actual full sized b&w keyline print of my collaboration with Glenn Barr on my 2008 QOTSA in Edmonton poster. Glenn drew my comic book character- Ricky Rat and I drew the women in the foreground as well as designed the text and colors on the '08 print. This is a newly realized version of this collab reimagined as an homage to Vincent Van Gough's 'Starry Night'. This kind of elaborate rendering took dozens of hours of hand coloring, far more than any of my other color remarques. This is basically a painting in marker. This is only available as a reproduction of the full sized custom remarque of the poster as a handbill.
