This is my first gig poster since the pandemic began and was sold exclusively at this concert featuring the phenomenal performance of Alain Johannes (Eleven, Chris Cornell, QOTSA, Them Crooked Vultures, Ten Commandos, Alain Johannes Trio).  The touring guitar player for Mark Lanegan Band and Seattle alumni, Jeff Fielder, also performed an amazing set.

I have a handful of copies from the show that I held back and I am now offering them for sale!  I've posted a few photos from this amazing and intimate live event.  Kim Thayil from Soundgarden stopped in to see Jeff and Alain play as well as say hi to yours truly.  Kim recently gave me a very flattering quote on my work for my upcoming book.  He's a such a great dude and true Seattle musical royalty.  After over a year and a half of pandemic and quarantine it was a blissful night of live music with friends and music lovers!

Behind the poster:
This poster is a fulfillment of a promise.  I met Alain back backstage in 2005 in Seattle when him and his wife, Natasha, were in QOTSA.  They were working on a new album for their own band, Eleven, and we talked about having me design the cover for it.  Sadly, Natasha passed away from cancer in 2008 and that album and my art for it never happened.  Alain and I have stayed in touch all of these years and were still talking about having me design something for his solo work.  'Life gets in the way' as they say but I'm very pleased to have finally found a gig and the right moment to create something for Alain.  The eyes in the text are of Natasha and the spider hanging from his cigar box guitar represents her as well from the Eleven song 'Cool Cruel Baby'.  Thanks to Trey Busch from Sleight of Hand Cellars for putting this show together for the both of us!
