This is a very ambitious 12 color screen print. The Lost Highway Project is a fresh, progressive concept in winemaking developed and trademarked by Vine Street Imports. The project entails collaboration with the world's finest winemakers and artists to produce critically acclaimed wine, paired with inspired original labels, bottles and packaging. This poster/ wine label was created for Vine St Imports for their 2015 Wine release highlighting Australian wine maker Michael Dhillon and his company Bindi Wines. At $75 a bottle for this limited run of wine it was a delicious, rich and deep bodied vintage. Very excellent and highly recommended. I created a image that was in a dark, almost film noir style. I wanted to compliment the colors of the deep purple and burgundy of his impressive Pinot Noir featured that year. This was the further adventures of the female traveler first seen on my 2005 wine poster for the same company and vineyard. This poster was modeled by a woman I was seeing at the time and much like the narrative, she traveled on. There are only a couple copies left in my archives.
