Officially commissioned poster by PRIMUS and MASTODON(co-headlined the 2018 tour) to create something very special for the fans. I pitched the idea and all parties agreed to let me design posters for both of them for the same show that come together as single image diptych poster. Both posters are 5 color screen prints measuring 18"x 24", both together measure 24"x 36". This is the uncut diptych poster.
The left side of the diptych, the poster created for Primus has imagery of goblins as their latest album The Desaturating Seven was inspired by the children’s book The Rainbow Goblins. The right side of the diptych, the poster created for Mastodon features an army of my own creation- Cephalodon Warriors, my interpretation of the subject of Mastodon’s Grammy-nominated album Emperor of Sand.
